I found Siril as a pretty awesome tool in comparing with for example Deep Sky Stacker. Right-click in the RGB window and save as a JPG, and again as a TIFF This ultimately puts out an RGB window.Ĥ. Go through the operations in Pre-processing, Registration & Stacking tabs. Load TIF files in the File Conversion tabģ. Open Darktable, load RAF files then export as TIFĢ. Whereas with TIF files as the starting point, I can do this:ġ. Go to its RGB window and save as JPG and TIFF Closing Siril isn't even necessary - just open the FIT that you're apparently working on.Ħ. Now go to File and Open the very same FIT file generated in step 2. Right-click in the RGB window and save as a JPG, and again as a TIFFĤ. This ultimately puts out an RGB window.ģ.

Why? Because the act of explicitly opening a FIT file eliminates the issue. I've determined that there is no point in me sharing my FIT file because it won't show the issue.
